Pastor David Salazar | Associate Speaker
David Salazar has a passion for ministry in the mission field, conducting evangelistic meetings and prophecy seminars in several countries in the Americas. He lived for several years in south America, where David served as a lay pastor in one of the largest SDA Churches in the city of Quito, Ecuador. While living in Latin America for several years, David and his wife Julissa were blessed by the Lord with two precious daughters, Emily and Juliana. Following the leading of the Lord, they moved to the United States in 2011, to a rural area in the state of Florida where to better establish and raise the family in the beauty of country living. Guided by Christ’s leading, he also received a call to serve in faith as the pastor of a local SDA congregation.Since 2012, laboring as a lay pastor in the Florida Conference, David has seen how vital it is to provide a clear, balanced and strong spiritual mission that gives purpose to the congregation. The guidance of the members and young people through training, Bible studies, and mentorship have been the biggest blessings to his pastoral ministry. This faithful service has provided an example for members to follow. As they cooperate with the Lord, they are revived and refocused, and the church has grown as a result. David’s goal is to always instill in those he teaches and mentors, the desire for soul-winning that Jesus himself exemplified for us. He believes in Christ’s method alone. As David has followed in His footsteps of service, leadership, discipleship and soul-winning, the Lord has blessed his ministry tremendously. David’s biggest desire is to see more of Christ and be a reflection his character. It has been thrilling for him to see the fruits of his labor as he has heeded His Great Commission.
