When Jesus entered the Garden of Gethsemane, it was as if a supernatural cloud of discouragement and fear enveloped the Savior. Three times He prayed to God, “remove this cup from me, nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done” (Luke 22:41). Why was Jesus so afraid to die?
Did God lie to Adam and Eve when He warned them not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil? In Genesis 2:17 God tells Adam that “in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Yet they didn’t die that day, and Adam lived for nearly a thousand years!
